Last Thursday, Frank Family Vineyards and 4ocean<\/a> celebrated the end of summer with a meaningful day at Seattle\u2019s beautiful Golden Gardens Park. Our community came together to make a tangible difference in preserving the natural beauty of Puget Sound. With gloves on and determination in hand, our volunteers collected over 75 pounds<\/strong> of trash and debris, revitalizing the shoreline and surrounding park to their pristine condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golden Gardens is a true jewel of the Emerald City, boasting sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains and the serene waters of Puget Sound, which make it a beloved escape. Even paradise, however, needs a helping hand. Our cleanup ensured this cherished landscape remains as stunning for wildlife as it is for the visitors who come to enjoy it. Volunteers carefully removed a variety of debris\u2014from an abandoned grill to cans and bottles, and even persistent microplastics\u2014each piece posing a threat to the delicate marine life and pristine shoreline of Puget Sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After our shoreline efforts, the day transitioned into one of connection and celebration at Duke\u2019s Seafood<\/a> on South Lake Union. Perched on the waterfront with unparalleled views of the lake, Duke\u2019s provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Guests savored thoughtfully curated bites, paired with selections of Frank Family wines, while enjoying lawn games and the serene ambiance of the dockside deck. It was the ideal way to honor our collective impact, recharge, and revel in the shared joy of giving back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Golden Gardens cleanup represents another significant step in our partnership with 4ocean and our ongoing commitment to caring for waterways and shorelines nationwide. Earlier this year, we joined together for cleanups in Napa Valley, Chicago, Rhode Island, and Cape Cod, and we look forward to bringing this spirit of stewardship and celebration to Lake Tahoe this September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
