“We wanted to create something special for our club members and guests who visit us at the winery, and I thought what is more special than <\/em>R<\/em><\/strong>ichard <\/em>H<\/em><\/strong>arvey <\/em>F<\/em><\/strong>rank? All of our vineyards are named after our grandchildren and our dogs, so it was time to have a wine named after the man who started it all.”<\/em> – Leslie Frank, Proprietor<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RHF pays homage to our estate R<\/strong>utherford h<\/strong>illside and f<\/strong>loor vineyards from which the wine is sourced: Frank Family’s own Benjamin Vineyard on the valley floor, and our “crown jewel” Rutherford hillside vineyard, Winston Hill. It is here, on Winston Hill’s southwest-facing slopes where our finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prestigious Rutherford viticultural appellation is home to some of Napa Valley\u2019s most celebrated wines, and has been home to Frank Family\u2019s coveted Cabernet Sauvignons for the past few decades. Our RHF captures the character of Rutherford from its endless layers of soft silky black fruit and punches of cinnamon and classic Rutherford dust that has come to define the great wines of this wine growing region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural release of the RHF hails from the impressive 2016 vintage. It was a near-perfect growing season that extended Napa Valley\u2019s run of exceptional years of Cabernet Sauvignon to five consecutive years. Even in its youth, the 2016 RHF is already showing beautifully in the glass, but it will continue to grow and find added grace for decades to come. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
