Carneros Chardonnay

2021 Carneros

$40

A bright and balanced wine with vibrant aromatics of baked apple, white nectarine, and toasted oak. A lively entry of tropical fruit and citrus expands with notes of rich lemon curd and brioche bread pudding. Ample yet refined, this unmistakably Carneros wine finishes with a refreshing wave of acidity.

“A truly outstanding effort by winemaker Todd Graff. Japanese pear, cardamom dusted brioche and suggestions of vanilla creme brûlée all fill the palate, with serious stuffing and underlying minerality. This is really fantastic stuff for the price to enjoy now and over the next seven years.”

Owen Bargreen

“Seamless, with a brilliant golden hue and an inviting nose of yellow apple and lemon custard. Creamy vanilla and pear meld with toasty, well-integrated oak on the palate.”

Somm Journal

"Powerful, with richness to the concentrated salted butterscotch, peach pastry and dried apricot flavors. Delivers details of spices and honeycomb, with elegant fresh acidity weaving in and out to highlight the flavors."
