Frank Family Vineyards Celebrates 15 Years of K9s For Warriors with a Meaningful Napa Valley Gathering

Frank Family Vineyards was honored to host the K9s For Warriors 15th Anniversary Celebration last week at our historic Napa Valley estate, welcoming veterans, supporters, and special guests for an evening centered on service, healing, and gratitude.

The celebration was especially meaningful as it welcomed Frank Family–sponsored service dog Frankie and his veteran partner Ryan, who traveled to Napa Valley to share their powerful story. Their visit offered guests a firsthand look at the life-changing impact of the K9s For Warriors program, which pairs trained service dogs with veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and military trauma.

Throughout the event, founders Rich and Leslie Frank reflected on the importance of honoring those who have served. In a heartfelt speech, Rich Frank paid tribute to his father, Hy Frank, a World War II veteran, underscoring the personal connection that continues to guide the winery’s philanthropic mission. In a meaningful show of support, the Franks also presented a $100,000 donation to K9s For Warriors, which will help advance its ongoing mission to provide service dogs to veterans in need.

Since launching our partnership in 2021, Frank Family Vineyards has contributed over $55,000 through its Frank for a Cause campaign, helping to advance the organization’s mission and expand its reach nationwide. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to service, resilience, and community, values that are deeply rooted in both organizations.

K9s For Warriors remains the nation’s largest provider of service dogs to veterans, working to help heroes return to civilian life with renewed independence and support. Frank Family Vineyards is proud to stand alongside the organization as it continues to change lives through the human–canine bond.
