As the 2025 harvest begins its gentle journey from vine to cellar, the enduring legacy of Lewis Vineyard comes into focus. Nestled in the heart of Napa-Carneros, where morning fog drifts in from the shores of San Pablo Bay, this estate has been a cornerstone of Frank Family Vineyards since 2000. Spread across 86 acres, with 58 planted to Chardonnay and 10 to Pinot Noir, Lewis Vineyard thrives in the cool, mist-kissed climate that defines Carneros. Just last week, our team hand-harvested Pinot Noir from these rolling hills, capturing the vibrant color and expressive aromatics of a season still unfolding and offering an early glimpse into the promise of the 2025 vintage.

The story of Lewis Vineyard is one of family and vision. Acquired in 2000 and named for Rich and Leslie Frank’s eldest grandson, Lewis, the property was planted with the goal of producing wines that faithfully reflect the unique terroir of Carneros. Over the years, it has become the foundation of Frank Family’s Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines.
Carneros itself provides the perfect backdrop for this vision. The region’s cool-climate conditions, shaped by fog and breezes from San Pablo Bay, nurture grapes that are both expressive and balanced. Paired with careful farming and meticulous vineyard practices, these natural elements allow Lewis Vineyard to produce wines that remain true to their origin.

Today, the wines of Lewis Vineyard emerge as a true reflection of this cherished estate. Across its sun-drenched hills and fog-kissed mornings, the vineyard imparts its elegance and character to every grape. From these soils, our Lewis Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir take shape, each carrying the spirit of Carneros — graceful, expressive, and deeply connected to their place of origin. Together, they tell the story of the vineyard itself: a story of heritage, care, and the quiet poetry of each harvest unfolding.
As another harvest season unfolds, Lewis Vineyard reminds us of the timeless rhythm of the land — a cycle of growth, renewal, and promise. Each cluster gathered is not only the beginning of a new vintage, but also a continuation of a legacy rooted in family and place. We invite you to raise a glass to this special season and discover the story of Lewis Vineyard in every sip.
