We are proud to announce that Frank Family has been selected as the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta “Winery of the Year” from among more than 90 winery participants. Celebrating its 31st year, the Fiesta will take place September 21-25, 2022. Those interested can learn more about Frank Family’s participation here.
“As Frank Family nears the celebration of its own 30th anniversary, having first opened our tasting room doors in 1993, we are thrilled to honor the history and evolution of the wine and hospitality industry alongside the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta,” says Leslie Frank.
Hosted at the historic Magers Field at Fort Marcy Park in Santa Fe, this year’s Fiesta will feature more than 60 restaurants and 90 wineries, with an expected 3,500 guests traveling to Santa Fe for the event. Frank Family Co-Founders Rich and Leslie Frank, as well as Director of Hospitality Liam Gearity will be in attendance and Frank Family wines will be highlighted at several events throughout the Fiesta’s five-day celebration, including a Thursday Wine Dinner at Saźon, the Live Auction and Guest Chef’s Luncheon, The Reserve Tasting, and the Grand Tasting. Gearity will also host a “Great Wine Happens Every Day” seminar on Friday, September, 23 alongside the Franks which will focus on the many ways Frank Family approaches Napa Valley’s two leading grape varieties: Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
“Each year the Fiesta Board of Directors and Events Committee seeks to highlight a special winery that reflects the elevated status of Santa Fe and its outstanding restaurant community,” says Mary Hallahan, Executive Director of Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta. “Frank Family is not just a household favorite, but consistently ranks among the best restaurant wines in the country and we are proud to showcase the Frank Family wines alongside the culinary delights our acclaimed local chefs will be preparing.”
Founded in 1991 by New Mexico restaurant legends Mark Miller, Al Lucero and Gordon Heiss, the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta is today a world class wine and culinary destination event.
