Every year, Frank Family invites our members and guests to join us for a dinner on the Member’s Lawn in celebration of the start of the summer season. In years passed we’ve toasted to the first weeks of summer with a Food Truck Roundup, a Pig Roast, and last year we hosted our largest event to date in honor of the winery’s 25th Anniversary.
This year we wanted to showcase our diverse collection of Cabernet wines with an event that would give them the attention they deserve. Cue the BBQ! We’ve decided nothing pairs better with traditional all-American BBQ classics like Napa Valley Cabernets. This food and wine pairing is the inspiration behind our Cabernet Cookout which will be hosted at the winery on Saturday, June 22 at 7:00pm.
We invite you to kick off the first weekend of summer, yet again, with your favorite Frank Family Cabernets, a delicious dinner buffet straight from the BBQ smoker, a donut bar, and live music on the Member’s Lawn as the day turns to night.
Napa Valley’s famed BBQ experts, Ring of Fire, will be serving a hearty array of BBQ classics and beyond…and for dessert save room for our donut bar courtesy of Sonoma local, Harvey’s Donuts. (full menu below)
The Rolling Heads will liven the party with their high energy blend of classic rock and today’s top hits.
We’ll be pouring some of our small production, appellation-designate Cabernets and provide an exclusive sneak peak of our newest Cabernet, called RHF, coming out this Fall. Of course, we’ll have plenty of Chardonnay and sparkling wine as well!
