Frank Family Vineyards Kicks Off Summer with 4ocean Beach Cleanup in San Diego

On May 30, Frank Family Vineyards and 4ocean welcomed the start of summer with a meaningful day of service along the shores of San Diego, California. Against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, volunteers gathered to help protect one of Southern California’s most beloved coastlines by removing marine debris and litter from the beach.

Together, our community removed 61.28 pounds of trash and debris from the shoreline—waste that might otherwise have entered the ocean and threatened marine life, local ecosystems, and the natural beauty of the coast.

As a certified cleanup partner of 4ocean, Frank Family Vineyards is committed to supporting cleaner waterways and healthier coastlines through hands-on community action. Events like our San Diego cleanup bring that mission to life, allowing wine lovers, environmental advocates, and local community members to make a tangible impact while connecting with one another.

Against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, volunteers worked together to remove a wide range of marine debris, including plastic waste, fishing gear, beach litter, and even an abandoned crab trap. Every piece collected helped restore the shoreline and protect the wildlife and ecosystems that depend on it.

Following the cleanup, guests gathered at the oceanfront Tower23 Hotel to celebrate the day’s efforts. With panoramic views of the Pacific as our backdrop, attendees enjoyed Frank Family wines, a vibrant taco bar, live DJ music, and great company as we raised a glass to the start of summer and the power of collective action.

Our San Diego cleanup marks another milestone in our ongoing partnership with 4ocean. Since launching our collaboration, Frank Family Vineyards has sponsored and hosted 11 regional beach cleanups, bringing communities together to help protect the waterways that connect us all. Through July 2026, every purchase of Frank Family wine supports our shared goal of removing 50,000 pounds of trash and plastic from oceans, rivers, and coastlines worldwide.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us in San Diego and helped make this event such a success. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to give back are what make these cleanups so impactful.
