At Frank Family Vineyards, stewardship of the land is a year-round commitment, one that extends well beyond Napa Valley and into the communities we’re proud to stand alongside. This Earth Day, we brought that spirit to the Texas coast with a shoreline cleanup at Galveston Island State Park, in partnership with 4ocean, as part of our nationwide cleanup series.

Coming Together on the Coast
Set along the windswept shoreline of Galveston Island State Park, 50 volunteers gathered with a shared goal: to help protect the Gulf Coast. With ocean breeze and open skies as the backdrop, the group worked side by side collecting debris and marine litter, turning collective effort into real impact—removing 185.69 pounds of waste from the shoreline in a single morning! It was a powerful reminder that when people come together with purpose, meaningful change follows.

The Impact Beneath the Surface
The Gulf shoreline is more than a scenic escape; it’s a living, breathing habitat that supports marine life, migratory birds, and fragile coastal systems. When debris enters these environments, it disrupts that balance. Cleanups like this one play an important role in helping protect these ecosystems, ensuring they remain resilient for generations to come.

A Coastal Toast
Following the cleanup, the group gathered at Number 13 to relax and reflect. Over coastal-inspired dishes and glasses of Frank Family wine, the day shifted from action to appreciation, celebrating both the effort and the community it created!

Continuing the Journey
Our ongoing partnership with 4ocean continues to take us across the country, connecting communities through hands-on environmental work. Each cleanup reinforces a simple belief: meaningful change happens when people come together and take action where it’s needed most.
Next up, we head to San Diego as we continue the series along the coast!
